…just keep driving…just keep driving…

…that is how this post all started.  I was on my way from Calgary heading back to Okotoks.  I was going to go home and realized that it was such a beautiful day, the last thing I wanted to do was sit inside.  So I decided I should just keep driving.  (i did make a quick stop to grab my camera at the last minute, sooooo glad i did!)
First stop was in Turner Valley.  I’ve been told about Route 40 Soup Company before but have yet to go there so I thought today would be the perfect day.
I wanted to eat here!!  BOO!  I will be heading here soon for lunch one day!

In the parking lot beside I saw this cute little van.  If I had clients with me, I would have wanted to shoot them in this!!! lol

I came around the last corner before you leave town and couldn’t resist the light.

Well now look at this! I could totally handle shooting in this falling apart, weird round thing.  No idea what it is, or what it was used for, but I like it!!  And right across the highway, sweet TREES (I think I’ve talked about my attraction to weird trees…along with the fact that I like them to be leaveless and colorless!)
Are you kidding me?!  These 2 amazing places right across from one another!  I will definitely be convincing some awesome people to let me photograph them here!

So here I am, in the middle of no where, full of excitement….when I realize I have to go pee…..really quite badly!  yikes!  Luckily for me….a few kilometers down the road was a turn off….with an outhouse!!!  YES hahaha  It even had a sky light AND a california palm tree air freshner! lol

Ok, feeling much better now….and then I saw SNOW.  Blah!  At least the forest fire danger is at low right now. ;)

And then….dead end.  :(   I guess I’m wouldn’t be going to the final destination after all (maybe that will hit the blog another time)
Time to drive back….
As I get back to Okotoks, a 30 second rainfall decided decorate my windshield.

The End.

Ok, kind of the end.  The end of my story for today.  All the images above were taken with my phone (gosh how I love <3 that little thing (addiction!)).  BUT today I did take my real camera with me as well……..

Some 5D love for ya!…
