While out shooting the images in the last entry, I found myself speaking aloud about how I don’t create enough images just for me anymore.  Ok, maybe I shouldn’t say create, maybe I should say snap.  Those kinds of images that you take just because you see a moment that you know is totally picture worthy so you grab the camera and take it.  I find myself not doing it,  just don’t feel like hauling out the big ‘ol camera just for one or 2 pics.  I’m sure all the other photogs out there can attest to this.  Recently I even bought myself a point and shoot camera thinking that if I had a small camera that I’d be inclined to pull it out more to capture these moments…..nope!!…it sits in my bag and doesn’t get touched.  (anyone wanna buy a point and shoot? lol)  Even when I have grabbed that new little camera….I’m too much of a perfectionist and find myself needing the control and creativity that I can get behind the lens of MY camera.  Sooooo, I guess that goes back to creating images and not just snapping.

Either way, later that night when I got home the kids were already asleep and this is what greeted me when I walked into my room.  The perfect opportunity to do exactly what I was talking about earlier in the day.  Daegen.  This is so him!  He would live in his underwear if the public thought it was ok to do so outside of the house and yes, he had to have on the rubber/plastic superman belt before he went to bed.  (why oh why would one want to sleep with that on is beyond me!)  The best part….his one missing front tooth, so awesome! haha
