Happy Birthday Kylin!!

Sigh, my babies are growing up.  Kylin had her first sleep over birthday party friday night.  I wasn’t sure how it would go….ok, to be completely honest, I thought it was gonna be insanely crazy and I’d never want to do it again! lol  BUT it went extremely well.  I picked up 4 extra girls from school on friday, we gobbled up some hot dogs for dinner and went into Calgary to see Space Chimps (which was better than I thought too, lots of adult humour lol).  So on the way home a song came on the radio that I know all the girls love so I cranked it up.  When I got to a stop light I could feel the whole truck rocking from the girls singing and dancing in their seats lol.  I thought to myself, “I should play this song when we get home and get out the old point and shoot and take a video of them all dancing!”….and then an even brighter light bulb went on!!…I knew exactly what I wanted to do!!!  I couldn’t wait to get home now and give it a try. So home we came for cake and presents.  A house full of crazy 9 yr olds, a pile of blankets in the living room, some crazy tunes, staying up ’til 3:00am and 1333 images later I came up with this stop motion video :)  This was all done with a camera and NOT a video camera.  I hope you all love it as much as I do.  It was actually a blast hanging out with five, 9 year old girls for the evening. Happy BIrthday Kylin.

*I feel the need to add my own little disclaimer, I had a hard time placing this song with my daughter’s bday slideshow, I don’t really like the sexy parts added to her images BUT this was THE song, the song they all listened to over and over again all throughout the night, the song they are all dancing to in the slideshow, SO it just had to be, it wouldn’t have been the same with another song.  I hope this little show will be awesome memories for all the girls when they are older :)

Dawn Stiller - OMGWOW! That is just incredible! Really awesome. Totally great thing that they will love to have when they are older, and just so damn cool!!! Did you put down the camera at all during the night? I can't believe how well you did, really capturing movement in frames from moment to moment. This must have taken FOREVER to put together!!
